Kristin serves several roles for the Juvenescence team including as a nutrition and wellness writer. When Kristin is not dashing after her children, she enjoys running, competitive volleyball, travel, and anything outdoors.

Kristin is a scientist with more than a decade of experience in developing and translating science to advance nutrition and wellness. In 2017, Kristin founded Katalyses to advance preclinical and clinical research efforts toward science-backed product development that will ultimately improve human health, in partnership with companies and nonprofit organizations of all sizes and in all stages. Prior to establishing Katalyses, Kristin developed extensive expertise in the design, implementation, and interpretation of scientific research through previously held positions at Biofortis Clinical Research, Kemin Human Nutrition and Health, and MB Clinical Research and Consulting.

Kristin earned a BA in biology from Wartburg College and an MS and a PhD in nutritional sciences from Iowa State University, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago in metabolism and oncology.
