With over 25 years’ experience in technology leadership, Eileen is known for building high-performing teams and delivering large-scale change in complex, fast-moving environments. Previously, she served as Chief Information Officer at Exscientia, an AI-driven drug discovery company, and held technology leadership roles at Wellcome Trust, a £40bn philanthropic organisation funding global scientific research. She has been recognised among the UK’s most influential women in technology since 2020, was ranked among the Top 10 CTOs in global healthcare technology in 2023, and was named one of the Top 100 CIOs in the UK in 2024. Eileen is currently completing an MBA with Heriot-Watt University.
Outside of work, Eileen loves travelling and experiencing new cultures, and actively supports diversity and inclusion in STEM through mentoring and industry involvement.
