Catherine McClinton
Head of Clinical Operations
Catherine McClinton is an accomplished Senior Operations leader bringing over 30 years of clinical expertise. Her career spans end-to-end operational delivery across complex global research — from Phase I to Phase II/III studies — consistently driving high-quality data and regulatory readiness whilst striving for on-target trial delivery. She regularly leads global training on trial standardization and was also involved in Treat-to-Target initiatives.
Her professional journey began at The Kennedy Institute, Imperial College — where she led clinical operations predominantly in Anti-TNF and supported the Institute’s transition to the University of Oxford — and continued through senior roles in biotech, an imaging CRO, and a Phase I Virology Unit. This breadth of experience underpins her pragmatism and her results-focused approach.
Catherine originally trained as a nurse at Westminster Hospital. This foundation continues to inform her patient-centered approach and her belief that patients should have timely access to research participation and innovative therapies.
Outside of work, she enjoys music, art, travel, and time with family and friends.
