Getting Started with the JuvYou Mobile App

How do I download the JuvYou Mobile App?

The JuvYou mobile app can be downloaded on the iOS App store by visiting this link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/juvyou-healthier-longer/id1618655804 on your mobile phone.

Please use the same email address that's tied to your MD-HQ (Patient Portal) account. Once you download the app, be sure to enter the Partner Code: DRLYON to connect your profile to Dr. Lyon's practice.

At this time the app is ONLY available for iPhone devices in the United States.

Is the app available for Android devices?

The app is not yet available on Android devices.

Is my JuvYou Data Secure?

Keeping your data safe and private is of utmost concern to us. We've utilized various security and encryption techniques to ensure your data is secure. Juvenescence uses encryption techniques on all access routes. All data transmission, including uploads, downloads, and browsing is encrypted using 256-bit AES protocol.

Passwords stored locally in the Cloud are always encrypted, and your data at rest is encrypted while stored in Juvenescence servers.

Connecting JuvYou to Dr. Lyon's Practice

How do I connect my JuvYou account to Dr. Lyon's practice?  

You can connect your JuvYou account profile to Dr. Lyon and her team by entering the partner code DRLYON into the JuvYou App either when registering or in Profile > My Account if you have an existing account.

By entering a partner code, you agree that the App may share your personal information with Dr. Lyon & her Care Team. This includes but is not limited to your Check In data, app & device information (sleep & activity), and recommendation data.

In addition, the JuvYou App retrieves and displays your Secure Messages & Documents from MD-HQ in the JuvYou App through API connections. This MD-HQ data is not stored on the App, and removing the DRLYON partner code tied to your account will remove any reference to this data in the App.

Entering a partner code when registering

When registering for the app, enter the partner code: DRLYON (all caps) in the partner code field. Be sure to use the same email that you use for the MD-HQ portal when registering:

Adding a Partner Code after account has been created

If you didn't enter a partner code when registering for the JuvYou mobile app, you can still connect your account to her practice by following the steps below. Be sure to use the same email that you use for the MD-HQ portal when registering.

  1. Navigate to Profile (far right of the navigation)
  2. Click My Account (if you were already in another section of the Profile, you may need to click back in the top left to get back to the main navigation for Profile and then click My Account)
  3. Click on the pencil on the top right to edit your account
  4. Enter the Partner Code: DRLYON
  5. Hit Save

Where do I enter the Partner Code: DRLYON in the App?

There are two ways to connect your JuvYou account profile to Dr. Lyon and her team:

  1. Entering a partner code when registering: When registering for the app, enter the partner code: DRLYON in the partner code field. Be sure to use the same email that you use for the MD-HQ portal when registering:

  2. Adding a Partner Code after account has been created: If you didn't enter a partner code when registering for the JuvYou mobile app, you can still connect your account to her practice by following the steps below. Be sure to use the same email that you use for the MD-HQ portal when registering.

    1. Navigate to Profile (far right of the navigation)
    2. Click My Account (if you were already in another section of the Profile, you may need to click back in the top left to get back to the main navigation for Profile and then click My Account)
    3. Click on the pencil on the top right to edit your account
    4. Enter the Partner Code: DRLYON
    5. Hit Save

How do I know if my account is connected to Dr Lyon's practice?

If you have successfully entered the partner code you should see the following updates in the app to let you know that you've successfully connected with your Care Team:

  1. Top Banner: When you click on any of the main tabs in the app (My Plan, Care Team, Notifications, Health Data, or Profile), you should see a banner at the top of the screen that says: Institute for Muscle-Centric Medicine®.
  2. Care Team Tab: You should see a tab called 'Care Team' to the right of My Plan in the Navigation

What do I do if my account is not connecting to my MD-HQ account (ex. you're not seeing MD-HQ messages and documents)?

Please perform the following troubleshooting steps if you are not seeing your MD-HQ messages and documents:

  1. Confirm that the email address that you used when creating your account matches the email tied to your MD-HQ account.  To see what email was tied to your account in JuvYou, click on Profile and then My Account (if you were already in another section of the Profile, you may need to click back in the top left to get back to the main navigation for Profile and then click My Account)
    • If the email doesn't match, click on the Pencil Icon (top right), change your email address, and hit Save 
    • If the email does match, proceed to troubleshoot step #2
  2. Re-sync your account with MD-HQ by removing the Partner Code from your account (Click on Profile > My Account > Hit the Pencil Icon), then hit Save. Next add the Partner Code: DRLYON back in, and hit Save again.
  3. Check to see if your messages and documents are now appearing in the app, if you're still not seeing them appear after 30 mins, please email us at appfeedback@juvlabs.com to look into this further for you. When emailing please provide the email address tied to your account.

How is data shared between JuvYou and MD-HQ?

Connecting your wearable device data & lab results

How to connect to my wearable devices (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura Ring, Whoop, etc)?

Apple Health/Apple Watch

  1. Go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Apple Health
  2. Go through the prompts to allow data from Apple Health to be shared with JuvYou

Fitbit

  1. Go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Fitbit
  2. Go through the prompts to allow data from Fitbit to be shared with JuvYou

Garmin

  1. JuvYou connects to Garmin devices through our Apple Health integration. Here are instructions on how to connect Garmin to Apple Health.
  2. Once your Garmin device is connected to Apple Health, you'll need to integrate with Apple Health in JuvYou, to do this, go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Apple Health
  3. Go through the prompts to allow data from Apple Health to be shared with JuvYou

Oura Ring

  1. JuvYou connects to the Oura Ring through our Apple Health integration. Here are instructions on how to connect the Oura Ring to Apple Health.
  2. Once your Oura Ring is connected to Apple Health, you'll need to integrate with Apple Health in JuvYou, to do this, go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Apple Health
  3. Go through the prompts to allow data from Apple Health to be shared with JuvYou

Whoop

  1. JuvYou connects to Whoop data through our Apple Health integration. Here are instructions on how to connect your Whoop data to Apple Health.
  2. Once your Whoop data is connected to Apple Health, you'll need to integrate with Apple Health in JuvYou, to do this, go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Apple Health
  3. Go through the prompts to allow data from Apple Health to be shared with JuvYou

How can I dynamically load lab results from Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp into JuvYou?

You can dynamically sync your lab results from select lab companies like Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp to JuvYou by first syncing those lab results with Apple Health.

If you haven't previously connected to Apple Health on JuvYou, you can then proceed to connect your Apple Health data by following the instructions below:

  1. Go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on Apple Health
  2. Go through the prompts to allow data from Apple Health to be shared with JuvYou
  3. Be sure to share your Lab Results when you're asked in the prompts

If you have previously connected your Apple Health data on JuvYou, you may be served a prompt when your data syncs giving you the option to share your Lab Results. If this prompt doesn't appear, you can either:

1. Disconnect Apple Health and then reconnect in the app, being sure to share your Lab Results the second time around

or

2. Go into the Health App on your phone, click on Sharing, then click on JuvYou, and then Health Records, make sure that the Lab Results section is checked to share your lab data with JuvYou.

What if I have connected my wearable device (Apple Health, FitBit, or KetoMojo) to JuvYou but my data isn’t syncing?

Data should sync automatically from your wearable devices when you open the JuvYou app. If the data doesn't appear, you can manually sync by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Profile > Apps & Devices and then click on the device that you're looking to update the data for
  2. Click on Refresh data

If that doesn't work:

  1. From the same screen, click Remove to remove your data and check the box to Remove all data from app/device from my account
  2. Then go back on the same screen and click Connect

Depending on the amount of data on your device, the time it takes to sync the data may take as long as 6-24 hours. If you are still having issues with your data not syncing, please reach out to us at appfeedback@juvlabs.com.
